Anne Y. Gardopee

Anne Y. Gardopée, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the age of 71, surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. Gardopée, whom she married on March 17, 1989. Anne was born to Thomas and Kay Yeoman in Hickory, NC on January 16, 1951. She was a graduate from Florida Southern College with a degree in Speech and Drama. Anne was employed in Christian camping at Gretna Glen Camp as the Program Director. She enjoyed sewing, music, and time spent with her family. She wanted to be remembered as joyful, and blessed. In addition to her husband, Anne will be missed by children Katharine P. Sullivan, of Palmyra, NY, David L. Perez and wife Amelia, of Asheville, NC, Elizabeth C. Portner and husband Alexander, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Anne’s four granddaughters.
Family and friends are invited to attend Anne’s memorial service on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 1:45 PM at the United Methodist Church of The Good Shepherd, located at 1500 Quentin Road, Lebanon. Guests will be received following the service. Interment will be made in Hickory, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gretna Glen Camp, 87 Old Mine Road, Lebanon, PA 17042, or the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, 2397 Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA 17042.
