Audrey Polizotto Smith
b. January 21, 1932
Audrey Polizotto Smith, 92, of Lebanon PA, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jesse Roland Smith, Jr. who passed away December 19, 2010 after 53 years of loving marriage. Audrey was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 21, 1932, daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Hilda Lang Polizotto.
She graduated from Sewickley High School in Sewickley, PA and was a former Early Childhood teacher after graduating from Adelphia College in New York. Audrey was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Wayne, PA where she was active with the Altar Guild, the Church Women's Group, and loved the music programs of the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, new great grandchild, as well as the beach, cooking, movies, traveling, and water aerobics.
Audrey will be missed by her daughter, Cynthia, wife of Dr. Mark Maria of Lebanon; her son, Andrew, husband of Karen Cressman-Smith of Royersford; her grandchildren, Christopher Jordan Maria, (husband of Julia Frense Maria), Madeline Maria Unpingco, (wife of Benjamin Unpingco), Nicholos Roland Maria, (fiancé of Sydney Kate Laicha), Katelyn Taylor Cressman, Matthew Adam Cressman; her great grandson, Jesse Maria Unpingco; her sisters, Hilda Haffey of Port Jefferson Station L.I., NY and Jean Sebolt of Sewickley, PA. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Roland Smith.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Audrey's funeral service and Requiem Eucharist on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 104 Louella Ave, Wayne, PA 19087. Family will receive friends from 10 AM to time of service. Interment will be made in Church of the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church Cemetery, Paoli, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Audrey's memory may be made to "St. Mary's Music Program", St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
