Barbara T. Winters

Barbara T. Winters, 81 of Myerstown, formerly of Haddonfield, NJ, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of David Lee Winters, Sr. Barbara was born in Camden, NJ on May 29, 1937, daughter of Charles C. and Gladys Pratt Testerman.
Barbara was a member of Myerstown United Church of Christ, Lebanon Chapter 115 Order of Eastern Star, Hermit Commandary Ladies Auxiliary KT #24 and the DAR. She enjoyed playing board games, card games, watching soap operas and the Hallmark Channel.
In addition to her husband, Dave, she is survived by her sons David Lee Jr, husband of Dawn Winters of Williamstown, NJ, Jeffrey A., husband of Kathleen Winters of Denver, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary C. Winters and sister, Eleanor Brown.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Barbara’s memorial service on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11 AM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon with Rev. Richard Luciotti officiating. Friends will be received Monday beginning at 9 AM to time of service at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be held at 10:30 AM by Lebanon Chapter 115 OES. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution in Barbara’s memory may be made to OES Chapter 115, c/o Susan Loehr, 107 S 4th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042.
