Bennett G. Greeninger

Bennett G. Greeninger,83, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Cedar Haven. He was the husband of the late Jean A. Reist Greeninger who passed away January 24, 2018. Ben was born in Lebanon on January 28, 1941, son of the late Jacob and Daisy Shutter Greeninger.
He was a graduate of Lebanon High School. Ben retired as a machine operator/packer from the cocoa and syrup departments of the Hershey Foods Corporation. He enjoyed trains, his fishpond and bird watching.
Ben will be missed by his daughter, Robin Greeninger of Lebanon, his son Todd, husband of Kelly Greeninger of Waxahachie TX, his four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Ben was preceded in death by his 6 siblings and a great grandchild.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ben's funeral services on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2 PM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon, PA 17042. A viewing will be held Thursday beginning at1 PM to time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Iona UM Cemetery.
