Betty L. Wetzel
b. August 22, 1930
Betty L. Wetzel, 92, of Lebanon, formerly of Myerstown, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehab. She was the wife of the late Franklin A. Wetzel, Sr who passed away March 9, 2012. Betty was born in Shamokin on August 22, 1930, daughter of the late Anna M. Whary.
Betty was a graduate of Shamokin Area High School. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lebanon. Betty enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Betty will be missed by her children, William I., husband of Patricia Wetzel of Lebanon, Rebecca A., wife of Douglas Martin of Norcross, GA, John Edward Wetzel of PA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, F. Arthur Wetzel and daughter L. Anjennette Sanders.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Betty’s memorial service on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1:30 PM from Messiah Lutheran Church, ,1800 Oak St< Lebanon, where friends will be received Saturday beginning at 1 PM until time of services at the church.
