Carl F. Brady, 92, of Lebanon (Cornwall), passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of Marilyn Ann Brady (Bainbridge). Carl was born in Lebanon on January 6, 1931, son of the late Paul B. and Emma L. Brady (Sohn).
He was employed as an electrician at the former Bethlehem Steel Ore Mines and retired from the Cornwall Lebanon School District as their electrician. Carl was a member of Quentin UCC and the Hemlock Archery Club. He was a sports fan, especially Penn State, Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies, was an avid walker on the Lebanon County Rails to Trails, as well as spending time at their home in Maine with their dog Tipper, and daily was Sudoku Puzzle solver.
In addition to his wife, Marilyn, Carl will be missed by his daughters, Denise, wife of Charles Gamble of Lebanon, Sheri, wife of Robert Weidman of Annville; his sons, Craig Brady of MN, Kevin Brady of Cleona; his 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and his expected great great grandson. He is also survived by his sisters, Dolores Miller of Annville and Sandra Wile of Mt. Gretna. He was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Sherman and brother, Paul Brady.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Carl’s viewing on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 9:00 AM and services at 10:00 AM at Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon. Interment will be made at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carl’s memory may be made to Quentin UCC, 11 E. Main St., Quentin, PA 17083.
