Carole F. Buckmoyer

Carole F. Buckmoyer, 81, of Lebanon died on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Lebanon she was the daughter of the late David C. Sr. and Margaretta J. Brower Patches. She was the loving wife of the late Allen Buckmoyer Jr. She attended church at Calvary Chapel, Lebanon. A Homemaker, Carole’s family was her heart and soul and devoted her life to her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her free time she enjoyed watching Days Of Our Lives, NASCAR, watching game shows, playing the lottery and always found a good challenge in a crossword puzzle. She was an avid Elvis Presly fan and would often listen to his music while tending to her home and always keeping things neat and tidy. Carole enjoyed rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and had a spicy personality which will be missed by all who knew her. She found solace in the little things such as a cold Pepsi.

Surviving are three sons, Scott A. Buckmoyer, Gregory L. husband of Michelle Buckmoyer, Steven C. Buckmoyer and his girlfriend Samantha, grandchildren, Alyssa, Tazmin, Natasha, Stevie Jr., David “D.A.”, great grandchildren, Emily, David, Zaliya, Zyra, Luna, Joziah, and a baby girl on the way. Also surviving are her siblings, Joann Rutter, Ruth Shade, Pinky Zornes, Renee DeJongh, Tammy Smith, Heidi Patches, David Patches Jr., Thomas Patches Sr., George Patches Sr., and Jeffrey Patches. Preceding her in death are a son, Allen “Bucky” Buckmoyer, and siblings, James Sr., Leatte Leathers, Chrstine Dimmick, Faith Brought, and Kathy Ream.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Those desiring may send contributions in Carole’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/.
