Charles H. Peffer Jr

Charles H. Peffer, Jr., 88, of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Ruth E. Brandt. Charlie was born in Lancaster on November 13, 1929, son of the late Charles H., Sr. and Rose Rathkey Peffer.
He was a graduate of McCaskey High School. Charlie was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a pattern marker at the former Lancaster Malleable Castings. Charlie was a fan of baseball and basketball and played in a number of church leagues.
In addition to his wife, Charlies is survived by a son Michael Peffer of Lancaster, daughters Karen, wife of Timothy Olsen, Kristen, wife of Davis Sharf both of Elizabethtown, several grandchildren. Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Raye Peffer, son Charles E. Peffer and sister Evelyn Kirchner.
Private family services are to be held.
