David Fortis Ortiz
b. August 9, 1969
David Fortis Ortiz, 54 of Lebanon passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on July 30. 2024. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Marciano Fortis and Luz Virginia Ortiz.
David worked as a handyman in Puerto Rico before his disability prevented him from doing so. Dave enjoyed listing to music, playing dominos, cooking and watching baseball. He enjoyed being around his family and was quite the jokester.
David will be missed by his sisters, Julia Fortis Ortiz of Lebanon, Evelyn Olavarria of Bronx, NY and Madeline Fortis of Davenport, FL; his special niece Juleyka Rojas of Lebanon and several more nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend David's funeral services on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 5pm to 9pm from the Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon, PA. Interment will be held in Trugillo Alto, Puerto Rico.
