Debra Jean Derr

Debra Jean Derr, 65, of Myerstown, passed away at her residence Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She was the wife of Lawrence S. Derr whom she married April 21, 1974. Debra was in Lebanon on April 21, 1955, daughter of the late Ed and Betty Noll Holiday.
Deb was a 1973 graduate of ELCO High School. She was a self-employed Tax Accountant. Debra was a member of Tulpehocken United Church of Christ. She was a former Den Mother and Cub Scout Master and Band Mother. Debra enjoyed home life and family time, traveling, playing piano and studying ancestry history.
In addition to her husband, Lawrence, Debra is survived by her daughter Cathy B. Beare of Lebanon, her son Jonathan M. Derr of Shrewsbury; her grandsons Dylan Shellenhamer, Ethan Beare and granddaughter Riley Beare and grand pup Ivy.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Debra’s funeral service on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 4 PM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr.,(next to Quentin Circle) Lebanon. Friends will be received Saturday, beginning at 3 PM to time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be later in Tulpehocken UCC Cemetery at the convenience of her family. A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, following the service at the family home beginning at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
