Faith A. Trunk
b. August 5, 1939
Faith A. Trunk, 83, of Lebanon, PA, died Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Lebanon Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital due to complications from hip surgery. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph H. Trunk, who preceded her in death on January 4, 2022.
Faith was born in Kingston, PA on August 5, 1939. She was the oldest of three daughters born to David & Anna Conway. In 1952 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the West Nanticoke, PA congregation. Faith was on her Student Council and graduated from Harter High School in 1957.
She lived in different parts of the world but spent over 50 years of her life on the Blue Mt. Horse Farm in Saugerties, NY, with a spectacular view of her beloved Catskill Mountains. Faith married Joe on February 6, 1975, and she enjoyed helping her husband (who acted as caretaker of the property) with the horses and other animals. She raised two children with Joe and spent time helping them and others learn Bible truths as a longtime member of the Saugerties Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. More recently she was associated with the Cleona Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lebanon, PA.
Faith loved to read & learn, and she taught herself many skills, including painting, sewing, knitting, and quilting. She was a member of The Mountain View Artists Group and had been employed as a nail tech at Gerta’s of Austria Spa for many years. Faith had a keen eye for style and decorating and created a cozy home for her family full of love and care. Those that met her found her to be a bright, curious, and engaging individual with a warm smile and good heart.
She will be greatly missed and is survived by her daughter, Angelique (Angel) Barton, wife of Marc Barton of Lebanon; her son, A.J. Trunk of Las Vegas, NV; her sister, Diane Plasser of West Chester, PA; nieces Elizabeth and Pamela; stepchildren Steve and Sue Corleto, and Debbie and Ed Black; step-grandchildren Joey, Lisa, Les, Lindsay, Mikey, Maria, Misty, Sheena, Destinee, and Steven, along with many step-great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
