G. Thomas Sealer

G. Thomas "Tom" Sealer passed away at home Tuesday May 23rd. He was born March 7th 1943 to the late George K. Sealer and Evelyn Kirkessner Sealer having just celebrated his 80th birthday with his family and many friends.
He was a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1961. In his youth, Tom, was an active member of Boy Scout Troup #46 and earned his Eagle Scout Badge. He was a member and past president of the Lebanon Jaycee’s and held the seat of Jaycee International Senator. Tom was also a true craftsman in both wood working & steel fabrication. Tom retired after a long career as a Master Pattern Maker and was very proud that he had the opportunity to fabricate patterns used to build Humvee’s for our troops overseas. He was a 46 year member of the Larsonic Lodge hunting camp and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Tom had many accomplishments in his life but he was most proud of his family. He was a dedicated partner and loving father and loved his four grandsons more that life itself was happiest when he spent time with them.
He will be missed more that words can express by his family. He is survived by his life partner Terry Sealer Smith, daughters Stephanie (Eric) Burris & Brooke (Frank) Schools, grandsons Tyler Nauman, Andrew, Isaac & Gabriel Burris, granddaughter Erica (Clayton) Kreider, great grandchildren Rhiannon Nauman, Anna, Ivan, Emmie & Levi Kreider, brother Donald (Kay) Sealer, sister in law Barbara (Scott) Peters and brothers in law Richard (Cindy) Keener and Stephen Keener as well as a niece and multiple nephews. He was proceeded in death by son Christopher Thomas Sealer, brothers Bruce & Brian Sealer and nephew Jared S. Peters.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 11 AM to 12 PM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Service, Ltd., 890 Isabel DR., Lebanon, PA. In lieu of flowers donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #73, 2933 Access Road West Manchester PA 17408 or the Boy Scouts of America Troup #446 346 N 9th Street Lebanon PA 17046
