Grant E. Hartman

Grant E. Hartman, 87 of Myerstown, formerly of Gretna Springs passed away Thursday morning, February 10, 2022 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Lebanon on November 10, 1934, he was the son of the late Mildred Hartman. He was the husband of Joyce Ann Bender Hartman who preceded him in death in May of 2007.
Grant was a 1952 graduate of Lebanon High School. He served in the United States Army. Grant retired from Alcoa as a supervisor. He was a founding member of the Lebanon Federal Credit Union. He was a member of the American Legion Post #158 and Lebanon VFW Post #23. Grant enjoyed playing Bingo and going to Hollywood Casino.
Grant will be missed by his daughters, Kimberly Jo, wife of Bruce Bender of Myerstown and Jodi Lynn Hartman of Myerstown; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. Grant is also survived by his sisters, Linda, wife of Mike Legg of North Carolina, Anna, wife of Donald Reed of Lebanon and Rita Williams of Lebanon.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Grant's funeral service on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from the Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon with Pastor Chris Shalter officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 7PM. Interment will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10:30AM in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. (All are welcome to the graveside).
