Israel Matos Alvarado, 73, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday January 27, 2019 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Irma Cruz Miranda. Israel was born in Aibonita, PR on January 5, 1946, son of Placido Matos and Carmen Alvarado.
He was a retired self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed and had played baseball.
In addition to his wife, Irma, he is survived by his daughters Irmarie Matos Cruz, Glenda Lee Matos Cruz, his sons Edgardo Luis Matos Cruz, Israel Matos Cruz all of Lebanon, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister and a brother in PR.
Funeral services and interment will be made in Aibonito PR.
