Janet C. Middlesworth
b. April 8, 1948
Janet C. Middlesworth, 70, of Jonestown, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center. She is the wife of Thomas C. Middlesworth, to whom she would have been married for 43 years this coming November 23, 2018. Janet was born in New York City, NY on April 8, 1948, daughter of the late William Patrick and Helen Curtis Campbell.
Janet was a 1966 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. She was a former accountant. Janet and Tom had been foster parents for many years. She was an avid baseball and football fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed visiting casinos.
In additions to her husband, Thomas, Janet is survived by her son Daniel Middlesworth of NM, her daughter Sarah Middlesworth of Philadelphia, granddaughter Sophia Middlesworth of Philadelphia, nephew Jason Drobel of Philadelphia, brother William, husband of Susan Campbell of Highspire and sisters Alice Weaver of Gettysburg, Nancy Bolognese of Hummelstown, numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Janet’s funeral services on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 9:45 AM from Porterfield – Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd, 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon, PA 17042, where family and friends will be received Wednesday beginning at 9:00 AM to time of service. Interment will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in Janet’s memory may be made to the Lebanon Rescue Mission or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
