Jerry William Lucas Sr
b. August 15, 1933
Jerry William Lucas, Sr of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra M. Steckley. Jerry was born in Weishample, Barry Twp., on August 15, 1933, son of the late William P., Sr and Verna Carl Lucas.
He served with the US Navy from 1956 to 1958. Jerry had been employed as a miner and truck driver. He enjoyed watching TV, fishing and camping.
In addition to his wife, Sandra, Jerry is survived by his three sons, Jerry W, Lucas, Jr of Pine Grove, Jeffrey Lucas of Pottsville, Lance Lucas of Tower City; his 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his siblings, Shirley Deeter of Higgins, Carol Ann, wife of Doug Nielson of Joilett, Jean Kroh of Joilett, Janet Maidenford of Joilett, Cindy, wife of Ralph Schneck of Joilett, Robert, husband of Eva Lucas of Joilett. Jerry was preceded in death by sons, Vince and Jason Lucas siblings, Marian Deeter, Harold Lucas, Grace Maidenford, Verna Lucas, William Lucas, Jr, Lewis Lucas, Joseph Lucas, Pauline Carter, Anna Mae Lucas, Betty Wolfgang, Linda Morgan, Henry Lucas and Johnny Lucas.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jerry’s Interment Memorial Service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 3 PM.
