Jimmie J. Palmasani
b. July 2, 1930
Jimmie J. Palmasani, 91, of Jonestown, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at ProMedica Nursing and Rehab, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Thomas Palmasani. Jimmie was born in Talladega, Alabama on July 2, 1930, daughter of the late Mose and Minnie Belle Harris Barber.
She was retired from Winthrop Labs, Myerstown. Jimmie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lebanon. She was a fabulous cook, enjoyed playing cards, bowling, Reading and time spent with her family.
Jimmie will be missed by her daughter, Carla Strobel of Jonestown, son, Frank, husband of Evanna Palmasani of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Tony Palmasani, Angela, wife of David Fox, Thomas, husband of Angela Strobel, Anne Palmasani, Frank Palmasani, Jr., Jaren Palmasani and 8 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jimmie’s funeral service on Monday at 12:30 PM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon where a visitation will be held Monday beginning at 11:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery.
