Joy Sandra Lookenbill
b. January 13, 1948
Joy Sandra Lookenbill, age 73 passed away peacefully at home after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer on November 30th 2021. Joy was born to Verna and Albert showers in Cornwall, Pa.
Joy married her life long sweetheart, Ronald on September 11th 1965 in Lebanon Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband Ronald Lookenbill and their three children: Angela (Rabold) Lookenbill, Ronald Lookenbill Jr, Renee Lookenbill, 5 adored and loved Grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren. Joy was a trusted friend and confidant to many. She retired from the Lebanon Valley Home in Annville Pa, where she enjoyed the residents and staff. She is a beautiful example of endurance, bravery and devotion. She will be missed dearly. We express our deepest gratitude to her family and friends who supported and encouraged her through this trying time. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joy's memorial service on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 3 PM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon, PA. Friends will be received Thursday beginning at 2 PM to time of service at the funeral home.
