Katharine E. Ely, 86, of Cornwall, passed away December 23, 2021 at Cornwall Manor Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Douglas E. Ely. Katharine was born in Palmerton on November 1, 1935, daughter of the late Edmund A., Sr and Katharine Barber Anderson.
She was a graduate of Wells College, NY and was an executive assistant for over 25 years at Verizon. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Palmerton. Katharine loved New York City.
She is survived by eight nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are pending with interment at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
