Laura J. Mease

Laura J. Mease,89, of Myerstown, formerly of West Lebanon, passed away on February 7, 2023 at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John H. Mease, Jr., who passed away June 6, 2004. Laura was born in Richland on March 19, 1933, daughter of the late Frank B. and Ella S. Anspach Hickernell.
She was a graduate of Richland High School. Laura enjoyed reading, crocheting, yahtzee and traveled the world with her military husband.
Laura is survived by her sister, Nancy, wife of Herman Sauter of Newmanstown and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Karsitz, Marion Lacks, Kathryn Walker, Shirley Clemens and brothers, Richard and Ray Hickernell.
Private family services and interment will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
