Leopold Josef Seiser
b. May 6, 1934
Leopold J. “Leo” Seiser of Cornwall, PA, was born on May 6, 1934 in Austria to Josef L. and Leopoldine K. Seiser. He graduated with honors from the pattern making trade. During his career he worked as a pattern maker, foreman, and Foundry engineer. Leo was proud of never having been unemployed. He worked in Austria, Canada, and the U.S., retiring from a foundry in South Central PA.
Leo passed away at age 88 at the Lebanon Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital on June 25, 2022. His interment was on July 2, 2022 at the Wentz UCC cemetery in Worcester, Montgomery County, PA. His immediate family was in attendance along with members of Hermann-Humbolt Lodge #125 F&AM.
Leo is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Betty Ann Schaffroth Seiser, their son, Eric and wife Kate and their adored grandsons, Anderson and Alexander, He is also survived by his sister Ingrid S, and husband Hans Reiter and their family. In addition to his parents, Leo, is preceded in death by a sister, Gerda S. Pibal.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11 AM from St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 600 S. 12th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Rememberances may be made to this church.
