Lloyd R. Kreider, 93, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Janice M. Hostetter Kreider and the late Blanche Todd Kreider who passed away June 6, 2006. Lloyd was born in Avon, Lebanon County on April 1, 1927, son of Herman R. and Sara E. Stager Kreider.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII. Lloyd was a 1944 graduate of Lebanon High School. He retired in 1983 after 44 years as a tool and die maker for Bethlehem Steel Corp. Lloyd was a member od St. Mark’s UCC, Lebanon where he served on church council, as a deacon, elder and sang with the “Him” Singers.
In addition to his wife Janice, Lloyd, is survived by his son Scott Raymond, husband of Nancy Kreider of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Erika A. Park, Corissa L. Walker, Jonathan S. Kreider; Janice’s family, son David R., husband of Robin J. Shaak of Hershey; step-children Sandra, wife of Anthony A.L. Weise of CA, and their families. Lloyd was preceded in death by his son Kerry Tod Kreider in September 2008.
Private family interment services will be made at a later date.
