Randy R. Strobel

Randy R. Strobel, 69, of Jonestown, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Lebanon Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Carla J. Palmasani Strobel with who he celebrated 45 years of marriage on February 14, 2020. Randy was born in Lebanon on February 12, 1951, son of the late Fred W., Sr. and Arlene Yerger Strobel.
He was an ELCO High School graduate. Randy was employed at Hollywood Casino as a HVAC Tech for the past 9 years and was second shift manager of facilities. He had been employed for 5 years at Vincent R. Boltz, Inc. and for 25 years by Carlos Leffler, Inc. Randy attended Church of the Good Shepherd UM Church, Lebanon, was a member of the Perseverance Fire Co Social Club and Jonestown American Legion Post. He enjoyed target shooting, time spent with family and friends, travel, wine tasting and cooking out on the grill. Randy was known as a genuinely kind and loving person and had never met a stranger.
In addition to his wife Carla, Randy, is survived by his daughter Angela S., wife of David Fox of Lebanon, son Thomas, husband of Angela Strobel of Lebanon; grandchildren Cameron and Carter Fox, Jaylyn, Brooke, Kayleigh, Lucas, Arianna Strobel and Nathen klish; his sister Jeanie, wife of John Gettle of Sarasota, FL; nieces and nephews and his mother in law Jimmie J. Palmasani of Jonestown. He was preceded in death by his brothers Fred W. Strobel, Jr. and James Strobel.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Randy's celebration of life on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 7:00 PM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Dr., Lebanon, PA 17042. Friends will be received Wednesday, July 29, 2020 beginning at 6:00 PM to time of service at the funeral home.
