Stephen A. Uvaney Jr.

Stephen A. Uvaney, Jr., of Lebanon, formerly of San Pedro, CA, Seattle, WA, Baltimore, MD, passed away Wednesday, September4, 2024 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center Hospice. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 30, 1944, son of the late Stephen A., Sr and Alberta McCay Uvaney.
He was a graduate of Mira Costa High School, Manhattan Beach, CA. Steve was a US Army Veteran serving from 1962 to 1965. He had a 30 year career in aviation for PSA and retiring as a Gate Agent from US Airways. Steve enjoyed skiing, aviation, travel, model trains, model car collecting, fishing, chess and backgammon games. Steve loved to be surrounded by good humor and joy. Always ready with a joke or quip to make you smile, he enjoyed brightening the day of those around him and sharing that happiness. Steve was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
Steve is survived by his two daughters, Amber Eiko Brennan-Uvaney and her husband Thomas Brennan of Pheonix, NY, Tori Andrea Uvaney of Montana; granddaughter Kalysta W. Kertes; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by half-sisters Shirley and Berenice and brother Jon.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Steve’s interment service with military honors 11:30 AM Thursday, October 3, 2024 from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
